Meet Our Staff

M. Thomas Norwood III  

 

 

 

  

Tom Norwood is a native of Charlotte and has lived in the Lake Norman Area since 1988. He is a graduate of Davidson College and received his J.D. from Campbell Law School in 2000.

Tom’s practice includes a wide range of commercial and general litigation matters, focusing on business torts and construction litigation.  In addition, Tom represents clients in a variety of general practice areas including:  Chapter 7 and 13 Bankruptcies, Small Business Organization, Traffic and Criminal Matters, Personal Injury, Estates and Wills and Workers’ Compensation.  Also, Tom has provided representation to numerous NASCAR teams, owners, drivers, executives, employees, vendors and support personnel.

 

 
Todd Jason Farlow  
 

 

Todd Farlow is a native of Sophia, North Carolina, and has lived in the Lake Norman Area since 2000.  Todd is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, and later received his J.D. from Campbell Law School in 2000.

Todd’s practice focuses on Residential and Commercial Real Estate transactions, as well as Wills, Trusts, and Estate Administration.  Todd takes a hands-on approach with all real estate transactions beginning with the title search through the closing.  Todd also handles real property disputes and litigation. Todd also works with small business entities, focusing upon their formation, contract drafting, buy-sell and other purchase agreements, and general corporate representation.

 
Linda Hoffman Swanson 

 

Lynn joined the firm in January 2002 as office manager and real estate legal assistant.  Lynn has almost 30 years experience in the legal profession.  Lynn received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Lindenwood College in Missouri.  Lynn served as a legal assistant and office manager in St. Charles, Missouri, and later as a corporate and litigation legal assistant and office manager in Pittsburgh, PA.  In 1990 she and her husband, Gary, moved to the Lake Norman area.  Lynn has been working as a real estate legal assistant and office manager in Mooresville since 1990.  She is responsible for all aspects of real estate closings and office management..

Silvia Schneider

    

  Silvia joined the firm in October 2002. She was born in Buenos Aires, immigrated to the United States at a young age, and grew up in Upstate New York.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education, and serves as our bilingual legal assistant, fluent in both English and Spanish.  Silvia has over 20 years experience in the Corporate and legal fields.  She moved to the Lake Norman area with her husband and two sons in August 2002 from Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.  Silvia currently assists firm attorneys with Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies, traffic and criminal matters, small business organization, litigation, and wills, estates, and estate administration

Jenna DuBois

    

  Jenna moved to North Carolina in 1998 from Connecticut.  She is a 2002 graduate of East Lincoln High School.  Jenna joined the firm in August 2007 as a receptionist and helps support all firm attorneys and staff.
     

Barbara Fox

    
   
Barbara moved to north Carolina in 2002 from new Jersey. While living in new jersey, Barbara and her husband Rusty owned and operated an RV Campground. after selling the campground, Barbara and he husband relocated to north Carolina. Barbara joined the firm in August 2006 and handles all real estate closing matters.
